The basics
What is blrstartuparena?
A map of the open roles at Bangalore's startups. Every company is pinned to the office you'd actually walk into, so you can see who's hiring near you, open their roles and apply on the company's own job board.
Where do the roles come from?
From each company's own careers page and job board. We read every listing, keep the Bangalore ones and link straight back to the original, so you always apply at the source.
Do you apply for me?
No. Every role links to the company's own listing and you apply there. We help you find the right roles and keep track of them.
Is it only for freshers?
No, it covers every level, from internships to leadership. Freshers can switch on the Freshers filter on the map to see only the roles open to them.
Why do I have to sign in to open a role?
Anyone can browse the map and see what every company is hiring for. Opening a role's details and its apply link takes a free account, which is also what lets us match roles to your profile.
Pricing
What's free?
The map, every role's details and apply link, your profile from your resume, your match count and your top 3 matches. That's free with an account, for as long as you like.
What does ₹199 get me?
30 days of blrstartuparena+: every match with a note on why it fits, chat that knows your profile and every open role, and your tracking board with an Excel export.
Why is ₹249 crossed out?
₹199 is our launch price for the first 50 customers, and 33 of those spots are left. After that it's ₹249. Anyone who buys at ₹199 keeps the full 30 days they paid for.
Is it a subscription?
No. It's one payment for 30 days and it never renews on its own. When it runs out you're back on the free plan, and you can buy again whenever you need more time.
What if I buy again before my pass ends?
The new 30 days are added on top of the days you have left, so paying early never loses you time.
How do I pay?
Checkout is handled securely by Dodo Payments. We never see or store your card details.
Your profile and matches
What do you do with my resume?
We read it to fill in your profile: skills, education, experience and projects. It's stored privately and used only to match you with roles. It isn't shown to companies or anyone else.
What file can I upload?
A PDF, up to 5 MB.
How does matching work?
We compare your profile with every open role, rank them by how well your skills, level and experience fit, and write a short note on why each one fits. Your best matches show up first.
My matches look off. What can I do?
Check that your profile is right. Edit anything the resume reader got wrong, then recompute your matches from the Matches page.
