About the role
GalaxEye designs remote-sensing satellites and develops geospatial analytics services using satellite imagery. This engineer will design, analyze, integrate, and qualify opto-mechanical systems for a multispectral imager payload.
What you'll do
- Design and analyze opto-mechanical assemblies for multispectral imager subsystems
- Perform structural, thermal, and vibration analyses of payload hardware
- Build prototypes and develop alignment and integration procedures
- Plan and execute opto-mechanical verification and environmental tests
- Design test fixtures, tooling, drawings, and assembly documentation
