About the role
Verifone provides electronic payment technology and systems for retailers, merchants, banks, and partners worldwide. You will lead a developer team while designing, building, and delivering Java backend services and applications.
What you'll do
- Own architecture and design for Java microservices and backend applications
- Set coding standards and conduct code reviews
- Mentor and guide a team of 4–8 developers
- Build REST APIs and event-driven services using Java and Spring Boot
- Optimize application and database performance and troubleshoot production issues
- Coordinate delivery with product, QA, and DevOps teams
