About the role
nVent designs and manufactures electrical connection and protection solutions. The Manufacturing Engineer introduces products and processes, improves assembly operations, and coordinates equipment, automation, and manufacturing readiness.
What you'll do
- Coordinate plant implementation of new product introductions
- Assess manufacturing feasibility, capacity, labor requirements, and process capability
- Maintain process flows, work instructions, and FMEAs
- Install and validate equipment and train operators
- Review PPAP submissions and implement assembly improvements
- Manage manufacturing data and bills of materials in the ERP system
