About the role
Applied Materials develops and services materials science and engineering solutions for semiconductor chips and advanced displays. This engineer manages master layouts and digital product models while supporting manufacturing readiness, product changes, and build issue resolution.
What you'll do
- Support product introductions, upgrades, prototype builds, and production ramps
- Review designs for manufacturability, assembly, and serviceability
- Create and validate master layouts and 3D product models
- Manage parts, assemblies, configurations, and releases in NX and Teamcenter
- Validate cable and harness routing within product models
- Coordinate root-cause analysis and corrective actions for build issues
