Manufacturing Industrial Engineer

nVent designs and manufactures electrical connection and protection solutions. The Industrial Engineer will optimize sheet metal manufacturing processes, develop tooling and process documentation, and drive productivity and continuous improvement.

• Optimize sheet metal fabrication, machining, and industrial engineering processes
• Conduct time studies, layout optimization, ergonomic assessments, and productivity improvements
• Create PFMEAs, control plans, work instructions, process flows, and manufacturing documentation
• Prepare manufacturing drawings, bills of material, routings, and process sheets in SAP
• Design processes, fixtures, and tools for sheet metal manufacturing
• Drive lean, Kaizen, 5S, Poka-Yoke, and line-balancing activities
