About the role
nVent designs and supplies electrical connection and protection solutions, including products for lightning protection and low-voltage distribution. This engineer will develop products, create CAD models and drawings, test prototypes, and support commercialization and launch.
What you'll do
- Design and develop electrical products for global applications
- Create SOLIDWORKS models and product drawings
- Develop project plans and track project status
- Specify materials, components, and products, and support quality procedures
- Validate builds, test prototypes, and support third-party conformance testing
- Support product commercialization, launches, and customer training
