About the role
nVent designs and manufactures electrical connection and protection solutions, including lightning protection and low-voltage distribution products. This engineer will design products, develop CAD models, validate prototypes and support commercialization and product launches.
What you'll do
- Design and develop electrical products for industrial applications
- Create SOLIDWORKS models and product drawings
- Collaborate with commercial teams and end-users on product ideas
- Prepare project plans, specifications and quality procedures
- Validate designs, test prototypes and support conformance testing
- Support product launches and conduct NPI training
