About the role
CrashPlan provides backup, recovery and governance tools that protect organizational data from loss, ransomware and compliance risks. This developer will build and optimize Rust systems for backup, restore, data transfer and cross-platform operations.
What you'll do
- Develop asynchronous Rust applications for backup and restore
- Build system components for file discovery, indexing and data transfer
- Optimize memory, CPU, I/O and network use for large-scale data operations
- Write unit and integration tests for system functionality
- Participate in architecture discussions, design decisions and code reviews
