About the role
Eurofins provides analytical testing and laboratory services across industries including food, environment, and pharmaceuticals. You will build and modernize Java backend applications, APIs, and services, supporting performance, quality, and cloud-ready architecture.
What you'll do
- Design and develop Java applications, backend features, and REST APIs
- Modernize legacy applications and support microservices-based designs
- Integrate services, data models, and analytical data-processing workflows
- Profile and tune application performance, memory use, and JVM behavior
- Write unit tests and maintain code quality with static analysis
- Collaborate with product, QA, DevOps, and architecture teams
