Senior Software Engineer I/II - Backend (Python)

UrbanPiper connects restaurant kitchens with online ordering platforms, storefronts and point-of-sale systems. The Menu team builds and operates the pipelines that publish restaurant catalogue data across those platforms.

• Build asynchronous pipelines that handle retries, failures and rate limits
• Model catalogue data to isolate third-party aggregator differences
• Investigate customer escalations using logs and data, then ship permanent fixes
• Build tests and replay checks to validate AI-written code
• Instrument services and build alerts and dashboards
• Review code, write design documents and support on-call operations
