Software Lead Engineer - Space Simulation (Space Domain)

Astrome Technologies is building a high-fidelity software platform for space simulation, spanning scientific computing, backend services and a desktop client. The Principal Software Engineer will shape and implement the platform across simulation, data, infrastructure, backend and desktop layers.

• Own end-to-end software architecture and technical design decisions
• Write and review production numerical simulation code
• Design the scientific data access layer and binary data formats
• Build backend services, event streaming and access controls
• Design HPC job lifecycle and deployment processes
• Mentor engineers and review implementation across the stack
