About the role
Airbus develops aircraft and uses structural analysis to support their design, certification and service lifecycle. You will assess aircraft structural integrity through simulations, investigate design and in-service issues, and improve simulation methods and processes.
What you'll do
- Assess aircraft structural strength using linear and nonlinear finite element analysis
- Identify structural design issues and recommend design modifications
- Support aircraft certification by reducing certification test risks
- Investigate in-service issues through root cause analysis
- Optimize manufacturing and assembly processes using simulations
- Develop simulation methods and automate simulation lifecycle processes
