About the role
Maersk provides warehouse and contract logistics operations. The Assistant Manager will lead daily warehouse activities, manage inventory and teams, support customers, and improve safety, service levels, productivity, and cost performance.
What you'll do
- Supervise inbound, outbound, picking, packing, and dispatch operations
- Maintain inventory accuracy and resolve stock discrepancies
- Lead warehouse supervisors and contract labour
- Monitor order fulfilment KPIs and handle operational escalations
- Conduct safety audits and ensure SOP compliance
- Drive productivity improvements and reduce operational waste
