About the role
Serko provides a global business travel and expense technology platform. The Data Engineer will build and maintain data pipelines, models, and cloud data warehouse solutions while improving data quality, governance, and platform reliability.
What you'll do
- Build and optimise batch and streaming data pipelines
- Develop data models with dbt and orchestrate cloud workflows
- Manage and enhance Snowflake and BigQuery data warehouses
- Improve SQL, Python, and PowerShell code across data systems
- Strengthen data governance, cataloguing, observability, and security
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule
