About the role
Caterpillar manufactures construction and mining equipment, engines, turbines and locomotives. The Data Engineer will build and tune data pipelines, support Snowflake warehousing, and help deliver data solutions and IT changes.
What you'll do
- Build and tune SnapLogic data pipelines
- Resolve ITSM incidents and communicate issues and resolutions
- Write SQL queries and stored procedures for Snowflake
- Gather requirements and manage end-to-end change requests
- Test new functionality manually and through integration testing
- Collaborate with functional experts to derive insights from data
