Hardware Simulation Engineer

Caterpillar develops engineering products, systems and components. The engineer will simulate electrical and structural systems, analyze results, and recommend design improvements for physical testing and product performance.

• Model circuit and wire routing and set up test benches
• Simulate emissions, immunity, coupling, and board-level SI/PI
• Perform structural and electrical simulations for EV transmission systems
• Analyze results and recommend design improvements for approval
• Identify critical locations and parameters for physical testing
• Deliver simulation analyses and recommendations to project stakeholders
