Senior Staff Engineer, Physical Design

Renesas develops semiconductor products for automotive, industrial, infrastructure, and IoT markets. This engineer will lead physical implementation and closure for complex SoC blocks and subsystems, coordinating methodologies and integration with SoC teams.

• Lead block and subsystem physical design closure
• Resolve timing, congestion, and power integrity issues
• Align subsystem clocking and floorplanning with SoC teams
• Develop and scale closure methodologies, flows, and automation
• Mentor physical design engineers on best practices
• Coordinate handoffs with RTL, STA, power, verification, and backend teams
