About the role
Loram manufactures and services equipment for the railroad industry. The Supplier Quality Engineer qualifies suppliers, investigates component quality issues, and drives corrective actions and supplier improvements.
What you'll do
- Develop risk-based supplier quality plans and qualification activities
- Conduct supplier audits, PPAP reviews, inspections, and component verification
- Manage supplier NCR, SCAR, and CAPA investigations through effectiveness checks
- Lead supplier warranty and field-quality investigations
- Analyze quality metrics to reduce defects, rework, and warranty exposure
