FX Artist - Senior

Rodeo FX provides visual effects, animation, advertising and experiential services for entertainment and storytelling projects. The FX Artist creates and optimizes simulations such as fire, smoke, fluids and destruction for shots in the 3D pipeline.

• Create complex simulations including fire, smoke, fluids and destruction
• Use Houdini tools to build optimized and adaptable effects
• Manage FX tasks from setup through final rendering
• Optimize caches and ensure stable, technically compliant setups
• Collaborate with supervisors and other departments to integrate effects
• Participate in dailies, turnovers and FX workflow improvements
