Lead Backend Developer

Analytical Wizards, part of Definitive Healthcare, builds marketing analytics and real-world evidence analytics products. You will lead development of Python backend systems and APIs, mentor developers, and coordinate delivery with cross-functional teams.

• Design and optimize backend services, microservices, and REST APIs
• Build real-time features and asynchronous processing with WebSockets and Redis
• Delegate backend work and coordinate feature delivery
• Mentor developers, review code, and enforce engineering practices
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize system performance
• Contribute to architecture and deployment in containerized environments
