Lead Backend Engineer

Vegapay builds configurable fintech infrastructure for banks, NBFCs and enterprises to launch and manage credit and payment programs. You will lead backend engineers and architect, build and operate scalable systems for high-volume financial transactions.

• Architect and build distributed, scalable backend systems
• Lead complex projects across services, teams and dependencies
• Drive design reviews, code reviews and system discussions
• Mentor engineers and raise the team's technical standards
• Optimize systems for performance, latency and reliability
• Monitor, debug and resolve production incidents
