About the role
Applied Materials develops and services equipment and engineering solutions used to manufacture semiconductor chips and advanced displays. This engineer will develop manufacturing processes, coordinate product improvements, and investigate assembly and testing issues.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain manufacturing methods, sequences, and processes
- Coordinate releases of product improvements and new products
- Estimate and reduce manufacturing costs and improve product quality
- Set time standards and recommend tooling and process requirements
- Develop test procedures and evaluate results
- Determine root causes and corrective actions for assembly or testing issues
