Mechanical Engineer

GalaxEye is building an airborne payload platform. You will design and analyze its mechanical structures and aircraft integration, supporting manufacturing, assembly, and flight testing.

• Design and analyze payload structures, enclosures, mounts, and mechanisms
• Develop the payload-to-airframe interface and optimize mass and center of gravity
• Create CAD models, drawings, GD&T, BOMs, and assembly documentation
• Support manufacturing, fabrication, and assembly with vendors and internal teams
• Support environmental, functional, and flight tests and compare results with analysis
