About the role
GE HealthCare develops medical technology and digital healthcare solutions. This engineer will lead mechanical design, development, and validation of imaging systems while addressing technical challenges and guiding product engineering.
What you'll do
- Lead mechanical design and validation of imaging systems and subsystems
- Drive mechanical architecture, thermal management, structural design, and materials innovation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver imaging products
- Conduct design reviews, safety analyses, risk assessments, and root-cause investigations
- Apply simulation-driven design and manufacturing principles to improve products
- Mentor engineers and contribute to technology roadmaps and intellectual property
