About the role
CERATIZIT India manufactures precision tools and serves automotive, aerospace, electronics and engineering sectors. The operator will set up and run cylindrical grinding machines, inspect cutting tools and maintain quality and production records.
What you'll do
- Set up and operate grinding machines for carbide and steel cutting tools
- Grind tools to specifications and required tolerances
- Inspect components using measuring instruments and maintain production records
- Dress grinding wheels and make basic machine adjustments
- Monitor machines and report abnormalities or maintenance needs
- Maintain workplace cleanliness and follow safety and quality procedures
