About the role
Illumina develops genomic technology for disease detection, diagnosis, and treatment. The Buyer Planner manages suppliers, purchase orders, and material availability for manufacturing while maintaining procurement data and delivery performance.
What you'll do
- Process direct-material purchase requisitions for manufacturing
- Manage suppliers and parts to meet material delivery requirements
- Maintain lead times, safety stock, expedites, and delivery schedules
- Coordinate material quality issues and vendor returns with internal teams
- Execute purchase orders and maintain procurement system data
- Drive supplier delivery, inventory, and requisition conversion KPIs
