About the role
Eurofins provides analytical testing and laboratory services, including pharmaceutical product testing. This database-focused engineer will design, optimize, automate and operate distributed Cosmos DB and MongoDB systems supporting laboratory applications.
What you'll do
- Design distributed data models and database architecture
- Optimize queries, indexes, and database performance
- Build scripts for database deployment, monitoring, and scaling
- Implement backup, restore, replication, and disaster recovery strategies
- Integrate database monitoring and alerting
- Partner with development and DevOps teams on data access layers and infrastructure templates
