Senior Engineer – Acoustics

Trane Technologies develops climate solutions for buildings, homes and transportation, including HVAC and transport refrigeration products. You will model and validate acoustic performance, correlate simulations with tests, and guide product teams on noise and vibration improvements.

• Develop and validate acoustic models for HVAC and refrigeration products
• Run aero-acoustic and vibro-acoustic simulations of fans, compressors and structures
• Standardize simulation methods and workflows across regional engineering teams
• Correlate simulation results with acoustic and vibration testing
• Recommend product design changes to reduce noise and improve sound quality
• Improve simulation capabilities and productivity through new technologies and scripts
