About the role

Cognite builds AI and data solutions for industrial digitalization. This engineer will design, operate, and scale backend services and workflow infrastructure for industrial AI and automation.

What you'll do

Build and operate serverless execution and workflow orchestration services
Maintain service uptime, latency SLOs, and incident response
Design scalable scheduling, queueing, and retry mechanisms
Define versioned REST and event-driven APIs
Instrument services with tracing, logging, and alerting
Improve throughput, cold-start latency, and cloud cost efficiency
