About the role

Squarepoint Capital builds data infrastructure for trading, back-testing and investment research. You will develop Python platform libraries, services and frameworks, improve data applications, and help investigate production issues.

What you'll do

Design, implement, test and optimize Python libraries, frameworks and services
Add features to React frontends when appropriate
Collaborate with technologists on evolving data platform requirements
Improve development velocity and reduce technical debt with data operations teams
Write requirements, design documents and production support runbooks
Investigate higher-order production issues during normal working hours
