About the role
Maersk’s Technical Services Engineering team operates a Kafka-based platform for real-time integration across global logistics systems. You will build, operate, and improve its hybrid event-streaming platform, reliability, automation, and AI-driven operations.
What you'll do
- Build and evolve a multi-tenant Kafka platform across cloud and on-premises environments
- Operate Kafka clusters and optimize topics, brokers, and performance
- Develop self-service APIs, automation, and onboarding workflows
- Apply AI/ML techniques to anomaly detection, incident triage, and remediation
- Define reliability objectives and monitor platform health
- Improve platform cost efficiency and support incident response
