About the role
nVent designs and manufactures electrical connection and protection solutions for equipment, buildings, and critical processes. The Sourcing Manager will lead sourcing, supplier development, localization, and procurement transformation across direct and indirect categories in India.
What you'll do
- Develop and execute India-for-India and India-for-Global supply chain strategies
- Set sourcing strategies across mechanical, electrical, electronics, and indirect categories
- Develop suppliers and expand localized supply bases
- Lead procurement across manufacturing facilities and India offices
- Oversee supplier selection, qualification, NPD, APQP, PPAP, and ramp-up
- Lead sourcing teams and monitor performance through KPIs and supplier scorecards
