Staff Engineer - Systems Engineering

Sarvam builds a sovereign AI platform for India, including Samvaad, an enterprise conversational AI platform. The Staff Engineer will own backend systems for voice agents and campaigns, including orchestration, reliability, performance, and testing.

• Design data models and APIs for agent, campaign, and user management
• Build backend systems using Python and FastAPI
• Orchestrate long-running workflows with Temporal
• Improve performance and reliability for the multi-tenant platform
• Build observability and integration testing infrastructure
• Set design-first and documentation-first engineering standards
