Staff Engineer - Telephony

Sarvam builds a sovereign AI platform for India, including Samvaad, a conversational AI platform for voice agents and campaigns. You will own backend systems for managing agents, campaigns and users, and ensure their performance, reliability and observability.

• Design backend data models and APIs for agents, campaigns and users
• Build workflow orchestration for complex, long-running operations
• Improve platform performance and reliability against latency targets
• Develop observability and integration testing infrastructure
• Collaborate with frontend engineers to deliver platform experiences
• Set design-first and documentation-first engineering standards
