• Support study start-up and provide input on study design, protocols, and case report forms
• Write protocol statistical methods, including sample size and power calculations
• Help develop statistical analysis plans and create table shells
• Review database specifications and specify derived variables
• Program statistical procedures and create reusable macros
• Prepare project reports, graphs, and tables under oversight
