About the role
CheQ provides a consumer credit platform for payments and credit-related products. The frontend tech lead will guide a small engineering team while building web experiences and owning frontend architecture, quality, performance and security.
What you'll do
- Lead a small frontend engineering team while contributing hands-on to the codebase
- Design key features and set implementation approaches
- Build React and TypeScript web experiences and maintain component quality
- Improve design systems, performance and mobile-first web infrastructure
- Apply frontend security protections and maintain dependency safety
- Mentor engineers and partner with product, design and backend teams
