About the role
Johnson Controls provides building safety and sustainability solutions, including fire protection systems. This engineer will design sprinkler and gas suppression systems, review project specifications, and deliver compliant drawings and engineering materials.
What you'll do
- Design fire suppression systems to applicable codes and standards
- Review MEP drawings and tender specifications for fire protection requirements
- Prepare system layouts and engineering bills of materials
- Complete project input studies and raise requests for information
- Perform hydraulic calculations, water demand calculations, and pump room design
- Deliver quality-assured drawings within project timelines
