About the role
Johnson Controls provides fire protection, suppression and security engineering solutions and sales support to branches worldwide. This engineer develops presales designs, estimates costs and prepares technical proposals for fire protection and suppression projects.
What you'll do
- Review project inputs and analyze customer requirements
- Design systems on floor plans and prepare bills of quantity
- Evaluate vendor proposals and optimize project costing
- Prepare technical proposals and compliance statements
- Complete quality checks and submit deliverables to the sales team
- Negotiate with vendors and internal teams on project pricing
