About the role
Trane Technologies develops climate solutions for buildings, homes and transportation. This engineer will analyze refrigeration and airflow systems and design thermal components using simulations and empirical calculations.
What you'll do
- Analyze refrigeration and airflow systems using simulations and empirical calculations
- Create thermal designs for heat exchangers, valves, compressors, fans and blowers
- Design heat exchangers for low-GWP refrigerants and analyze two-phase heat transfer
- Calculate component cycle balancing to optimize refrigeration systems
- Perform heat transfer and mass transfer calculations
