About the role
Egis provides architecture, engineering, consulting, construction and mobility services for infrastructure and building projects. The BIM Technician will create and maintain structural models, prepare construction documentation and coordinate model issues with other disciplines.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain 3D BIM models for structural projects
- Coordinate structural elements in models with structural engineers
- Create construction drawings and specifications
- Detect clashes and coordinate resolution across disciplines
- Assist with quantity takeoffs and cost estimates using BIM data
- Check models against building codes and project requirements
