About the role
AUMOVIO develops technology for safe, connected and autonomous mobility, including automotive systems and software. The Category Manager develops category and supplier strategies, negotiates sourcing and contracts, and manages cost, compliance and supply risks.
What you'll do
- Develop material and supplier strategies based on business needs and market analysis
- Evaluate suppliers and align category strategies with internal stakeholders
- Select suppliers, negotiate prices and conclude contracts
- Drive cost reduction, value engineering and supplier improvement programs
- Monitor category data, targets and contract lifecycle management
- Assess supply chain risks and implement mitigation and compliance measures
