About the role
Avathon provides an industrial AI platform that connects operational data and supports applications across heavy industries. This engineer will design and build database storage, indexing, transaction, and distributed query systems.
What you'll do
- Design and implement storage engines and efficient indexing structures
- Optimize storage performance, caching, compaction, and query execution
- Implement consensus, sharding, replication, and failure recovery
- Build transaction controls, crash recovery, and distributed transaction mechanisms
- Develop and validate production database systems using systems languages
