About the role
Allegion develops security products for doorways and related environments. The Advanced Development Leader will guide technology exploration, lead a cross-functional team, and transfer validated innovations into product development.
What you'll do
- Define technology roadmaps aligned with business and product strategy
- Lead feasibility studies, prototypes, pilots and technology demonstrations
- Manage and mentor a cross-functional technology team
- Establish design controls and technology validation methods
- Coordinate technology handoffs to product development teams
- Manage external partnerships, technical risks and IP considerations
