About the role
3M develops products and materials across multiple businesses, including chemical materials and specialty chemicals. This specialist will support global sourcing, supplier negotiations, category analysis and procurement process improvements.
What you'll do
- Support sourcing across assigned chemical subcategories and suppliers
- Lead supplier negotiations, bidding events and sourcing recommendations
- Analyze spend, suppliers, markets and cost drivers
- Develop sourcing solutions and assess supply risks
- Support supplier selection, performance reviews and risk assessments
- Track sourcing projects, savings and supplier actions
