About the role
Kyndryl operates and modernizes mission-critical technology systems for businesses across industries. You will analyze and optimize z/OS performance, forecast capacity, and guide improvements across client mainframe environments.
What you'll do
- Monitor and optimize performance across IBM z/OS environments
- Forecast processor, storage, Sysplex, and tape capacity
- Analyze SMF/RMF data and recommend performance improvements
- Configure and tune WLM policies to meet service objectives
- Diagnose performance issues and conduct root cause analysis
- Develop capacity reports and optimize resource and MLC costs
