About the role
Egis provides engineering and consulting services for infrastructure, buildings and mobility projects. This engineer will design pumping stations and related mechanical systems for water, wastewater and other infrastructure projects.
What you'll do
- Design pumping stations for water, wastewater, irrigation and firefighting
- Select pumps and calculate heads, pipe sizes and valve sizes
- Size wet wells, HVAC, lifting equipment and filters
- Prepare mechanical equipment and piping layouts
- Perform hydraulic modeling and surge analysis
- Resolve utility model clashes and support BIM coordination
