About the role
CoverSelf provides a claims and payments platform for US healthcare payers. The auditor reviews claims, validates coding, supports denials management and helps translate payment policies into review rules.
What you'll do
- Review claims and identify coding or billing errors
- Validate CPT, ICD, HCPCS codes and modifiers
- Support denials management and pre- and post-payment reviews
- Apply payer, CMS, NCCI and reimbursement guidelines
- Recommend claim corrections and policy rule improvements
