About the role
Egis provides engineering, consulting, construction, and mobility services for infrastructure and building projects. The Principal BIM Technician will lead transportation project modeling, coordination, technical standards, and supervision of junior BIM staff.
What you'll do
- Lead BIM model development and coordination for transportation infrastructure projects
- Establish and enforce BIM standards and modeling practices
- Perform clash detection, coordination analysis, and 3D model reviews
- Mentor and supervise junior BIM technicians and CAD specialists
- Manage BIM data, file organization, and version control
- Integrate consultant and contractor BIM deliverables into master models
