About the role
Extreme Networks develops networking products for data center and 5G environments. The Principal QA Software Engineer will test networking solutions and build Python-based automation for functional, regression, performance, and system validation.
What you'll do
- Design and execute test plans for L2/L3 networking solutions
- Validate data center and 5G architectures through integration and performance testing
- Build and maintain test automation frameworks using Python
- Perform manual, exploratory, interoperability, and system-level testing
- Automate regression, functional, and performance test suites
- Analyze logs and packet captures to troubleshoot network and system issues
